Client Impact

Outreach Fort Collins proactively walks downtown Fort Collins to build trusting relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness and provide community-based referrals based on the needs of the individual. Outreach Fort Collins also responds to situations involving disruptive behavior, intoxication, and mental health concerns or crises. In these situations, Outreach staff work to de-escalate individuals, communicate appropriate behaviors, and coordinate with police or emergency medical assistance as needed. Our ongoing goal is to lower the negative impact on our community while connecting individuals to long-term supportive services (statistics updated quarterly):
